The short version: Emberdot doesn't collect, store, or sell any of your personal data itself. It shows ads through Google AdMob to support development, and this page explains exactly what that involves.
Nothing, directly. Emberdot doesn't ask you to create an account and makes no network connection for gameplay itself. The one exception is advertising: Emberdot uses Google AdMob to show ads between levels, and Google's SDK may collect device identifiers and usage data as described below in order to do that.
The one thing Emberdot remembers is your best score, and it's saved directly on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. It never leaves your phone, we never see it, and it isn't backed up to any server we operate.
Emberdot shows ads through Google AdMob roughly every few levels. The first time you play, iOS will ask whether Emberdot can track you across other apps and websites — if you allow it, ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising identifier; if you decline, Emberdot still shows ads, just not personalized to you. If you're in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, Google's consent tool will also ask which categories of ad partners you're comfortable with, before anything loads.
We don't receive or store any of the data Google's SDK collects for ad delivery — it goes to Google, governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can withdraw ad tracking permission at any time from your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or reach us at the address below with any consent questions.
Because Emberdot collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either. The app is appropriate for all ages.
If our data practices ever change, we'll revise this page and update the effective date above accordingly.
